School Bus Accident on Strattford Road

bus-accidentA school bus filled with children from Clemons Middle School was involved in an accident on Strattford Road and Fraternity Church Road.

Officials report that a woman driving a Suzuki vehicle ran a red light and hit the school bus that was turning left. Emergency officials at the scene reported that no one was injured.

The lanes were closed to traffic for the ongoing investigation at 2:15 p.m. when the accident occurred. It is not clear why the woman ran the red light.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation and officials have not reported any arrests.
